We start from the engineer-hours your team spends on production incidents each month: incidents per month × hours per incident. That is the time on the table.
Aient doesn't touch all of it the same way. We split your incidents into two groups. The code-level share — exceptions and crashes that resolve to a stack frame in a repo Aient can read — are the ones it auto-drafts a fix for, as a reviewed pull request. Everything else is detected in real time and routed to your team with a root-cause writeup. We apply a separate, adjustable time-saving to each group, because a drafted fix saves more than a well-framed handoff.
Multiply the reclaimed hours by your fully-loaded engineer cost to get the monthly value, subtract your estimated Aient spend, and you have net savings and a return multiple. Defaults are deliberately conservative — a 40% code-level share, you review every PR — so the number is one you can defend, not one we inflated.
